Overview
PingIntro is a digital business card platform. We collect the minimum information needed to provide the service and never sell your data.
What we collect
- Account info: Your email address and name (via Google OAuth or magic link). We do not store your password.
- Profile data: The name, title, company, phone, email, bio, and links you enter on your digital business card.
- Contacts: Business cards you scan or save. These are visible only to you.
- Photos: Card images you scan are processed by Google Gemini to extract contact details, then stored in Supabase Storage.
- Usage data: Basic analytics to improve the product (no third-party trackers).
How we use your data
- To create and display your digital business card
- To process scanned business cards via OCR
- To sync your contacts across devices
- To generate Apple Wallet passes from your card data
Third-party services
- Supabase: Database, authentication, and file storage
- Google Gemini: OCR processing of scanned business cards
- Google OAuth: Sign-in (we receive your name, email, and profile photo)
- Apple Wallet: Pass generation (only when you tap “Add to Wallet”)
Data sharing
Your profile is public at pingintro.com/c/your-slug — this is the core feature. Only the fields you choose to fill are visible. Your contacts and scanned cards are private and visible only to you.
Data retention
Your data is retained while your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data yourself at any time: in the app on the first tab, then tap Delete account, or on the web at pingintro.com/card. This removes your profile, your public card, your saved contacts and every image you uploaded. Deletion is permanent and takes effect immediately.
Your rights
- Access, export, or delete your data at any time
- Control which fields appear on your public card
- Revoke Google OAuth access at any time from your Google account
